Amity University is one of the renowned universities of the country. It offers a 3 years MBA program. It has both distance learning mode, where people get both study materials and contact classes and the correspondence mode, which includes students’ study materials only. The Criteria is quite high. A 50 % is required in graduation. The admission procedure starts with a test, selection of the top scorer followed by a group discussion and personal interview. One can also download the admission form from the internet and fill the form and send it to the institute. Thus it happens over the internet. There are a total of 6 semesters held over a period of three years and two per year. The Indira Gandhi National Open University is one of India’s premier institutes offering distance education Programs.The University has developed network of 58 regions, centres, 6 sub regional centres, and 1400 study centres in the country. It conducts two kinds of correspondence MBA programs, one general and other specially meant for the banking sector. IGNOU offers specialization on a wide range of subjects such as Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Marketing. The criterion for the admission is a 3 years graduation degree with work experience or a master degree. The course costs Rs.800 each, which includes examination fee. The course fee is payable at the time of admission or re-registration. All students need to apply for OPENMAT. The evaluation of scores is followed by personal interviews which forms the basic admission process.
SIKKIM MANIPAL UNIVERSITY
Many people are now opting for MBA degree from Sikkim Manipal University. It has also got a wide assortment of courses and various flexible modes of conducting the same.
